We're attending the Williamstown, Melbourne event this year. It features a curated line up of established and emerging creatives, and offers shoppers the best in genuinely Australian handmade homewares, ethical fashion, lifestyle products and delicious food. It also features crafty drop-in workshops where you can learn a new skill and tap into your creativity. Emu Plains is one of our favourite markets. Nestled beneath the woodland shade of forest treetops, you'll find a community of makers who come together each month for a day festival. There is an abundance of crafts on display, from handmade ceramics and preserved flowers to jewellery and home decor. A signature one day retreat set in beautiful surroundings to help you turn down the noise, shake up the mundane and switch off from the busy-ness of life. I had the honour of being the guest facilitator at this event, teaching the group the ancient art of ceramic hand-building and appreciation of homemade goods.
